Teams: create, invite and manage roles

A team tag, a shared home and a private chat, plus roles that give each member the right permissions: setting up a team and inviting friends.

Updated

Why start a team

A team holds up to 50 players and owns the protected claim: no team, no claim (see Land claims).

  • A shared home and a private chat
  • A TAG shown next to your name
  • PvP between members is off by default
  • Two team leaderboards: Argent and Dragons (see Leaderboards and votes)

Create and invite

  • The team name is 3 to 16 characters
  • You become the founder and get the claim banner
  • You can invite players who are online and teamless
  • One team at a time
  • Disbanding the team also deletes its claim

To get started with friends, follow the Playing as a team guide.

The team home

Set it in the Overworld, the Nether or the End: your claim has to start within 20 blocks. By default, you respawn there after dying.

Tip: start your message with ! and only your team sees it.

TAG and roles

The TAG is 3 to 5 letters and costs 1,000,000 ⛃. A member with no role can build, open chests and doors, and use the home.

  • Open “Gérer les Rôles” in the /team menu
  • Create a role and tick its permissions
  • Assign it by clicking a member’s head
  • A role is an exact list: tick the basic permissions too

Commands

  • /team: opens the team menu
  • /team create <name>: creates your team
  • /team invite <player>: invites a player
  • /team join <name>: accepts an invite
  • /team leave: leaves the team
  • /team disband: disbands the team and its claim
  • /team sethome: sets the team home
  • /team home: teleports you there after 5 seconds
